RESULTS

The weather looked a bit uncertain on Sunday morning, but that didn't stop 50 shooters, including lots of visitors from as far away as Kilmore, Wagga Wagga, Wodonga and Shoalhaven Gun Clubs, from coming out and trying our challenging range and great hospitality.  Gary Georgio was more than generous once again, bringing down some great prizes from Safari Firearms in Sydney.  Gary has also gone out of his way to help our members with their various shooting needs throughout the year.  Thank you again all at Safari.
As usual, we ran a Springing Teal Championship in conjunction with the shoot with 50 of the 100 targets heading skywards.  Many handled the course well, others...........  Congratulations go to young Alan Fuge from Kilmore, who not only handled the Springers, but shot the possible - 25/25 on range B.

Results from today:
AA/A grade 1st Alan Fuge  (Kilmore) 82 C grade 1st Owen Gauslaa 66
  2nd Gary Georgio 81   2nd John Simmons (Shoalhaven) 56
  3rd Mark Gshwend 78   3rd David Scott 54
B grade 1st Adam Shiels 72 Ladies 1st Jan Redman 67
  2nd Craig Field 69   2nd Carole Radford 60
  3rd Michael Ghatar 67   3rd Katrina Clancy 57

Adam Shiels won the shoot raffle but despite his good form today, he failed to shoot all eight targets to collect the $500 - surely it must be won at our next shoot on Sunday March 28th - 100tgts Hcp Hoodlum Tackle Challenge - sponsored by Mal & Kelly Stubbs. This will also be the 2nd round of the Club Championships.
George Fane picked up 4 packets of shells when his number was drawn for the lucky shooter and tireless worker and committee person, Mario Magrin would have won the 1/2 case of shells on offer for the lucky member - BUT - he wasn't around today due to recent knee surgery.  Bad luck Muz.
