The long running and very popular Cheryl Brady Memorial Shoot was held in beautiful conditions on Sunday and we welcomed shooters from Sydney, Cooma, Eden, Goulburn & Frankston. As always, Nev & Shirl were extremely generous with their sashes and prizes and the club thanks them again for their long standing sponsorship. Unfortunately we had no junior shooters competing for their special sash. However, it was one of our "ex juniors" who travelled down from Bombala and took out the shield this year - Good shooting Brent. It was also great to see Deb Moulding shooting after the long awaited arrival of her gun. Well done Deb. |

The shoot raffle was won by Phil Body who unfortunately failed to shoot the 8 targets, but takes home a bottle of whisky. The prize will jackpot next month to $350. Phil's luck was still with him however - he won the lucky shooter prize of 4 packets of shells. And finally, we had a member present when their name was drawn for the 1/2 case of crackers - congratulations to one of our regular lady shooters, Jan Redman. Next shoot - Sunday September 26th at 10am our 100tgt OTG Rabbit Challenge gets under way and our sponsors, The Drakos Family from the 777 Supermarket & Deli and Drakos Construction are sure to set an interesting course and provide some great prizes. Set up crew for September: Jim & James Drakos, Phil Craig, Dan Bruinsma, Brad Munckton, Dave Scott, Neil Radford and John Singleton. |
